CAMPGROUND RULES

rule #1

If you book a site with us, please keep in mind that we require a non-refundable first night deposit for your reservation. We will not book a reservation without it. We do not tentatively hold spots and will only hold a potential reservation up to a week.

rule #3

If you need to change or cancel your reservation, we require at least 48-hours notice. Any days cancelled from your reservation within 48-hours or if you have already paid for your entire stay and would like a refund for any reason, a 40% processing fee will be charged for each remaining/cancelled day of your reservation (minus the first night deposit).

rule #5
rule #2

When you arrive, you must pay for the ENTIRE time you have reserved as soon as possible. If the office is closed when you arrive, use the drop box to pay for your site OR come visit the office in the morning. Sites unclaimed after their first night may be released to another party after check-in (1:00 PM) the next day, unless staff is notified prior.

rule #4

ATVs and four-wheelers are allowed but please refrain from using them between the hours of 10pm-6am and do not ride them in circles around the campground due to safety concerns for other campers.

rule #6

Generators are a common item for our guests to use and we have no issues with their use as long as they are not run during the night and early morning hours (roughly 10pm to 6am).

rule #7

Dogs are always welcome at our campground as long as they are kept on a leash and picked up after. If your dog becomes disruptive, we may be forced to ask you to leave.

rule #8

When using an electric site, please close the electrical box during and after use. If a guest is found using unauthorized electricity, they will be asked to leave and banned from the campground.

rule #9

Children must be supervised while in the laundry room and by the river. There are no lifeguards on duty and swimming in the river is not recommended. Please see Alaska’s regulations and rules on fishing our river.

rule #10

Firewood can be purchased from the office and guests are welcome to bring their own. However, if a guest is found destroying the campground for firewood (e.g. chopping down trees or any of the campsite dividers), they will be asked to leave and banned from the campground. Please see Alaska's Burn Closure Status for having campfires in our area.

rule #11

Please keep all valuables and alcohol locked up during the night. Trash left out may attract unwanted wildlife, so please keep your site clean, especially overnight.

Please help keep the bathrooms clean by ensuring that you have all your belongings and shower supplies with you before you leave. We ask that you do not wear waders into the restroom, and we recommend wearing shower shoes while showering. If any of the restrooms are out of supplies, kindly notify campground staff.

rule #12

Remember to please be courteous to your fellow campers. King For A Day prides itself on the sense of community our guests bring to the campground. Disruptive guests will be asked to leave.
